I know a lot on people wont agree with this but I know of a good diet clinic that is in East Los Angeles my sister lost about 80 pounds in 6 months. They give you fat burners, diet pills and some kind of fat burning injection 1 a week you go there and get your pills and shots and get weighed. The cost is about 45 the first visit and then 25 a week. They also have something called local injections for 5 dollars for each area you want them at. The clinic is called Indiana First Medical Clinic on Whittier Blvd. just call information and get the phone number and exact address. It really works.

“There is absolutely no scientific evidence showing that apple cider vinegar can aid in weight or that it contains any magic ingredients that help you to shed pounds. Back in the 1970s when this diet took its place among the many weight fads and scams, proponents claimed that somehow a combination of cider, kelp, vitamin B-6, and lecithin fooled the body’s metabolism into burning fat faster than it would normally.

These days the claims are far less elaborate – supposedly, all you need to do to lose weight is to take one, two, or three teaspoons of apple cider vinegar before every , starting with one teaspoon and then working up to two or three. I understand that taking more than three teaspoons isn’t supposed to lead to better results. The only dieting advice you get with this “diet” is to eat moderate portions at meals, avoid snacking, and wait for the apple cider vinegar to reduce your hunger and food cravings.”

I’m breastfeeding, but I’d like to lose with the help of shakes and snack bars in addition to eating healthy and being active. Preparing meals is difficult with two in diapers. What are my options and are there specific ingredients I should be wary of in weight loss shakes and snack bars? I’m looking for replacements as well as snacks.

There are plenty of protein powders available but I think the “safe” part is rather subjective. As you may know powders are geared towards bodybuilding and such so there are plenty of added compounds. I know kashi makes a protein powder that is soy based and doesn’t have any added chemicals. There are also several whey protein powders that don’t have added BCAA’s and sweeteners. But as always prior to ingesting any of these products take it in to your OB and ask if it’s safe. You could prolly consult a lactation consultant or someone at La Leche.
