Question by dana s: can thin an eating disorder or extreme weight loss? anyone experience this?
For example, 1 friend is curvy, and the other is model thin. The model thin one is constantly talked about and complemented or admired. The curvy 1 all of a sudden drops a bunch of weight. coincidence? Can there be any corelation? can having a thin complemented friend trigger an eating disoreder and extreme weight loss in a heavier friend?

Yeah kinda, you probably can’t help but compare sizes with your friend and then feel especially fat compared to her, thus would start – consciously or sub-consciously start trying to lose weight .

Question by Happiest in the kitchen.: Does any one drink oolong tea for weight loss?
I have just read that oolong tea increases your metabolism and also helps to flush excess fluids?

I only started drinking it today, and I liek it. I would probably drink it anyway, but does else drink it? Does it work for you???

I also eat well and do some exercise.
Okay I’m not for postive but oolong and Wu-Yi tea are the same basic thing right?

I lived in Japan where oolong tea is drunk regularly by the locals. It does help to flush away fluids, and it does increase your metabolism but kind of in the same way that drinking coffee would, just in a more drinkable format. I enjoy it but find if I drink too much I start buzzing.
If you drink it make sure you balance it out with lots of water to make sure you dont flush away too much fluid.

The thing that worked for me was walking and eating right. I would get home and walk around my neighborhood for at least 30 minutes and then eating right. I stopped eating junk food and started eating salads with balsamic dressing lots of veggies and chicken… no red meat. The pounds fell off after about 3 weeks…. It takes awhile to see results so stick with a certain plan/diet for at least 2-3 weeks.

Hopefully someone can help me out here. Could recommend some tips for quick loss? I’m wanting to work out at home if possible and I don’t have a lot of money for equipment. Are there any exercises that can suggest? Any help would be awesome!

Pushups, situps, crunches, squats, run around the block. The usual. If youre a beginner and pushups are too hard you can do them against your wall, or against a couch.
You could also watch tv then during commercials do pushups or situps until your show comes back on. Make it fun. Always stretch before you work out though (Roll your neck, wrist, hips, ankle, try to touch your toes, etc.)
Eat healthy. Put down the chips and grab an apple, or put down the soda and grab a water.
Cut down on the candy, if you crave chocolate, eat an alternative, like Nutella on toast. It taste EXACTLY like melted chocolate, and it’s healthy.
