I purchased this book along with the Italian and Indian versions. I have to reserve the Italian and Indian versions, but if they are anything like this then I am not going to be very well-pleased. Most of the recipes this book contains are not very authentic or Mexican at all. The only thing that struck my attention were the homemade salad dressings, macaroni and cheese, and broiled cheese sandwiches. I probably will not be using this book in the kitchen much as it does not appeal to me. I would not bother purchasing this book if I were you, search for something fullo f moreauthentic Mexican cuisine! If you find one then please tell me!

A nice way to add Mexican flavor to your vegeterian dishes. Good recipes that are easy to understand.

First, this isn’t vegan at all for anyone preferring that. Nor is this a healthy cookbook instead using lots of butter, sour cream, mayo, canned mushroom soup… in many of the recipes. No suggestions of light cooking or fresh inspired ingredients. There are much better books out there if you love mexican food.
